Tempietto del Bramante

The so-called Tempietto (Small Temple) is a small commemorative tomb (martyrium) built in 1502 by Donato Bramante, in the courtyard of the Church San Pietro in Montorio, beautiful church built in 9th-century, on Janiculum Hill and top of Trastevere, not far from Hotel Montecarlo . This temple is considered a masterpiece of High Renaissance Italian architecture
